On the subject of alpha testing… Epigon has passed one more hurdle towards being testable in a meaningful way!
The data parser now parses, scans, and instantiates objects based on flat text human readable files. Next step: get it to do so correctly!
There seems to be a few bug relating to comments in the files, which I hope to track down in short order. After that the roadmap says get it to read in a map, associated terrain, and then draw a world to move around on. At that point it really will be ready for some testing.
