EmoSquid

For the 2011 7dRL Challenge I wanted to do something even more difficult than Earl Spork, so naturally I opted to do a 3D rogue-like!

In the one week allowed by the challenge, I created EmoSquid. It’s a full 3D movement Rogue-Like with fun music add in. The version linked here only has one song, but more can be added. Check the readme.txt file for more information on adding songs. If you know me, ask me for the full song version :D

One of the fun components of EmoSquid is that as you level up, you unlock new songs. There is also an animation of musical notes rising behind the status display which gains more notes as you level up, providing a visual display of the player’s progress.

The above link is for a bug-fix / features release post-challenge. The original in-challenge entry can be downloaded here. Note that this release has some bugs and is somewhat lacking in the feature department.
