It’s Sinking! Hurray!
Well, hurray for submerging and staying submerged anyway.
I recently competed in the 2012 RoboSub Competition held in the temperate Sand Diego, California as the lead programmer for the MSU team. You can read an excellent summary of the team experience from the MSU News Service. We were able to overcome some rather severe difficulties to make it into semi-finals this year. What follows is an overview of some of the issues the competition foists upon the participants.
Coffee Show Adventure
Coffee Show Adventure was created as a value-added item given to folks for donating to KGLT during the Coffee Show.
This text adventure in the classic Zork style was written using Inform 7. There are many ways to win the game, as well as there being a point system which goes beyond merely winning. It’s even possible to win the game with zero points!
Featuring lots of references to the Coffee Show, KGLT, and the Montana State University Strand Union Building, this game is a humerous look at a day on campus.
